Automatic Updates to Books on Kindle
If Penny Press publishes a new version of a book but keeps the same title and ISBN, we normally update the ebook sold on Amazon. If you have purchased the book via Amazon you will automatically receive the update if you first turn on automatic updates, as follows:
Preliminary step to ensure synchronisation of your notes, bookmarks etc between the original and the new book.
If your device is a Kindle Fire HD, Kindle Fire HDX, Kindle for Windows 8, and Kindle for BlackBerry 10 then Whispersync for Books (Annotations Backup) is enabled automatically on and can’t be turned off.
If you have any other device, make sure Whispersync for Books is turned on for your device or Kindle reading app to sync your notes, highlights, bookmarks, and furthest page read.
Next, enable Automatic Book Updates as follows:
1. Go to Manage Your Content and Devices (www.amazon.com/mycd).
2. Select the Settings tab.
3. Select “On” under Automatic Book Update.
As of today there is no kindle update for 8.3 version of B4A rapid Android…
Hello Lynn,
If you go to https://www.amazon.co.uk/B4A-Rapid-Android-Development-using-ebook/dp/B00YHNO3J0 you will see that the book is now the 8.30 version. If you cannot download the new version you need to contact Amazon and ask why.
I experience the same problem. Although other Kindle books I own are sometimes updated, so all settings in Amazon look to be OK, this does not happen with your book. I’ll contact Amazon about this and when that fails I’ll just re-order the book straight from you (Penny Press).

Hello Paul,
It’s a pity that Amazon are not updating the website. I hope they do so for you.
